Here I thought we were pushing for a civiled democratic society over there. Theres no hanging in a civiled democracy. Its too barbaric. There is lethal inject and electricution though.
Lets all hold hands and walk forward to the 20th century. And if we send enough troops over there and stay there long enoough, despite American and Iraqi civilian protest, we might just make it to the new millennium before it ends.

"War gives the right to the conquerors to impose any condition they please upon the vanquished." - Julius Caesar
I do not agree with the death penalty under any circunstance. Even a bad person can change and could do much good in the world. We cannot see the ends in all things and should look towards reform rather than petty revenge.

And that will accomplish what? Does he have any power now? Throw him in one of his prisons and treat him as he did his prisoners. Suffer, Suffer. The hanging will be too quick, if it even happens.

If he hangs, he becomes a martyr, if he does not he remains a hero, for some, anyway!
He has done enough damage, should have left him to rot in his bolt hole.

I think its too light, weeks and weeks of torture for him like he did to his own people would of been better.Maybe they could fill up a swimming pool with acid and throw his azz in it, like him and his brothers would do to people.Or maybe throw him in a cage with a crazed doberman pincher who hasnt ate in 5 days, another one of his favorite past times..

He deserves it. It's going to cause a lot of violence, even though people don't care about him. It'll just be an excuse to attack American soldiers.
