There are multiple ways to get a french manicure.
One way, is the all natural way, where you can buy a kit yourself that includes the white nail polish and the clear coat. Another way to make your french manicure look "prettier" is that after you use the white to tip your nails, use a light color (pink, purple?) over it. Only one coat though.
Always use a clear coat after & before if you want it to stay longer.
If you think it's too difficult, go to a salon. You can observe what they do and see if you can do it yourself next time.

I completely agree! The easiest way is to buy a kit and maybe even have a friend do them for you. The kit will come with the polish and with little stickers that you put on your nails for when you're painting the ends. If you put a base coat on first make sure that it is VERY VERY dry before you put the sticker on top of it or it will peel the paint right off. Usually you put the tips on first then a top coat. A beige top coat usually looks more natural than the pink, but it depends on what sort of look you are going for. Hope that helps a little.

i do my own french tip all the time..take a bottle of white french tip nail polish, take the brush out and wipe all of the extra polish off into the bottle until you have a limited amount on, then slowly trace the nail. make sure you have nail polish remover and Q-tips close so you can clean up any mistakes. once done, apply a clear top coat. good luck!

you have to get a french manicure pen. then wip the pen across the tip of your nail. or just go get them done

paint the nail a natural color

you should buy a kit but don't use the sticker just free hand it looks a lot better

i don't know. i think you have to put in one coat of pink, then white and last clear. you can get a DYI thingy in drugsrtores
