Yes. Accoreding to a lot of parenting magazines, introducing classical music to a child early on in life can make a child smarter. dont know if its exact science, but hey certainly learning about classical music and its history makes you more intelligent.

It is claimed when babies are in the womb, and classical music is playing they become smarter. I'm sure there are studies out there to back all this up. But when I was pregnant...I played a variety of music for my son, and not only is he smart, he is a smarty-pants who thinks he knows everything! lol

Yes it does, studies have shown that if you listen to classical music all day it will make you more relaxed and concentrate on your studies much better.

I'm not sure about classical music, but some music make you more stupid

Yes it does, it helps with your listening skills and communication skills, it's not just for kids. Pop and Rock are also good because the beat gets you going. So I guess classical rock is great for you.

If it does - than does country music make you more stupid, and rap make you more violent and big band or swing make you more laid back etc, etc, etc????????

maybe, i think it just makes you more relaxed and focused on what your doing, it helps you concentrate on your work.
