Also I would like to know if there is a temporary solution to use a Delhi car in Bangalore without a Karnataka registration and without any hassles from Karnataka Police.

So If I bring it to Bangalore and just pay the road tax in stead of getting a Karnataka registration, how much will that cost me for say, a one year registration...

ya, definately there is a temporary solution. U just take ur car to bangalore. Just pay the road tax for the period for which u want to stay for. Means if u want to stay for 1 month u just go to bangalore RTO and pay the tax for one month & get the reciept from them. thus no policeman can stop u. They entertain to accept the road tax for as minimun as one month. And sure ur registration no. will not change.

You can use your vehicle in Bangalore without paying anything as long as you are not stopped by a cop. At that point you can let them know that you have just come to bangalore and intend to do the registration process.
Stick to just paying the road tax. it is not worth you while to transfer the registration unless you plan ot hold on to your vehicle forever.

NO temprery solution with karnataka police will work .but i will advise u better option you can save ur money and time and will be happy to do this .just sell ur car in delhi and collect the money and purchase a banglooru registered car if u dont have any option than u will cost near about 10 to 14 thousent to fill life time tax again and new numbers
