I Know it should be Zack or Zach but can I just use Zac? I don't like Zachary either:P

I think it's a cute name. Common. Not weird, but not unique. Pretty popular. It is the English shortening of Zacharias, the Greek form of Zechariah. Zechariah was a minor prophet of the Old Testament, author of the Book of Zechariah. This is also the name of the father of John the Baptist in the New Testament, who was temporarily made dumb because of his disbelief.
Personally, I would leave it, "Zac". It's a little more unique than "Zach", and I also don't like the name "Zachary". It sounds like you're hacking something up.

Zac is a good name. I think it sounds strong and assertive. I know quite a few zachs. Most of them either have an h or a k on the end of their name. I like most of the Zachs that I know. There seem to be quite a fe meanings behind the name Zach depending on how you spell it and what name it came from. Zac is not on the list, although Zack, Zach and Zak are. Zac is usually short for Zackary or sometimes spelled Zachary, and Zac is spelled Zack or Zach depending on ths name
its a cool name, but its becoming very common
I like the name Restin, its very orignal. Also, consider how the kid named Zac will always be last in alphabetical order

It is a good name, strong too. But a word of caution, be careful about weakening the name with DUMB initials. You know, like, Zac Ian Thompson.....ZIT....be nice to your son. The meaning of the word can be derived by going back to the original word, Zachariah, also spelled Zekharyahu and Zekharyah. It means...Yahweh remembers. Sounds like a very strong name Zachary Zacharia? its short for either of those names maybe more. I think it sounds strong and different and original . I like it .
It means rememberance of the Lord back ground is Hebrew
