Very little because he is still married to the other lady then she is the one with all the rights legally. If you do not have your name on the house or whatever either he or you both own together then you are in trouble. If he and his wife will never get back together then he needs to make it legal and get a divorce because if he does not then you will have no rights at all. You need to talk to him about this for your future...if he will not then you need to make some very hard decisions for yourself. If he does not care about your future, you have to look after yourself. Good luck!

Absolutely Nothing, say it again!! As long as he is married, his legal wife gets the pension. Unless he changes his beneficiary on his insurance policies, she will also get that. If there are children involved... Look Out.... better he should get another life insurance policy and make you his beneficiary, and you do the same. Marriage/Common-law - its all the same - 50/50 - but in your case, he is not divorced... BIG, BIG DIFFERENCE.

Well it depends where you live and what the law says. But generally, you have no rights whatsoever. Even if he were to include you in his will: when his gone, his wife and family could contest it and you'd end up with nothing. Right now the law sees you as the disturbing factor in their marriage. so sorry, the wife will come first

He will have to state in a will that he what he wants you to have because if he dies without one everything will go to the wife unless he can divorce her but my advice would be go and see a specialist in marriage and divorce law as he will be able to tell you what you and your partner can do but while he is still married to his wife I think your options will be limited.

you have none. plain and simple.the wife will receive any and all of his social security, and his home, it does not matter if you live with him in this home, if his name is on the deed it will go to the wife. so, maybe you need to talk this over with him, and have him make out a will, regarding his property. but be aware, even if he says in his will that you are to get certain things, she has every right to fight it, and more than likely she will end up getting it. maybe he can add you to the deed of the house, that will help.

Nothing-you have no rights. Unless you are married, you don't have any rights and you never will-and if he gets divorced, then the ex will get half of all that and you still won't get any. Hope you weren't in this for money sweetie-cause you ain't getting any.

theres no rights for you, just the legal wife. that's what u get when u go with someone who is married, u waste the life u could have had, u spent it on a married man.

none. It's like you two are room mates and room mates don't have rights on death and pensions. Have him write out a will.

None. Truly, absolutely nothing. If you want those sorts of perks he must be married to you.
