Since I am very outspoken....I have a neighbor who thinks she can cling on me because she took me to the ER 3 months ago. Now she calls all of the time, knocks on the door etc. Well, I sat her down and told her that it was terrific that she was there for me 3 months ago. Also, it is nice to have a friend. But I am more of a loner and she can call...maybe 2 times a week? Come over when I invite her. Walk with me and the dog when I come over. Well, she cried and got her feelings hurt...but after all the crying she understood and now everything is cool!

Just tell them they are being too clingly. You have to tell people how you feel.

Stop bothering with them, if they continue to call, don't answer the phone. Be honest with them and tell them to stop bothering you, if that does not work, then avoid them. If that does not work and they continue to bother you then get a Police Restraint. I had to almost go to that extreme, I had a Fatal Attraction for a few months. That was last year, this has been a good year.

STOP CLINGING ON ME!!!!!!! Or i'll have the robot people come and replace your brain with a monkey's buttox! And have them loosen your head and tell them to put on 27 pounds of extra parts on tour stomach area and 2 on each side of your buttox, just to be nice!

Check out sites on codependency which she/he might be developing with you. I would back away and not answer some calls, be busy for several outings, etc.
