well you can find a lot of great pictures on line...just use copy paste.
also there are specially made picture banks, which are availibale on line and on CD . they are free if you use them for non comercial reasons.
also, I do not think, that you need to be a drawing genius..making your own illustrations is still better. I teach drawing, and may students had programmed their brains that they cannot draw...while about 99% of them can!
Shematic drawings may be easier to make and very clear to understand when you pressent your aasigment. you can alwas make funny sticklike man and so on drawings. I am sure you will have no problems in that.
good luck and just let yourself be creative. It is lot of fun.
P.S. and if you ever think about developing your drawing skills, maybe read this book "Drawin On The Right Side Of The Brain". I have just taken a course (evene thoug I draw, paint for over 20 years now) with other 4 people who were absolutely begginiers. It worked for all of us. All of us were more than surprised what we can draw in only 4 days!

It would have been better if you wrote in the question what the topic of the assignment is.
okay I found a site for you. It's designed for kids but they have some cute things that don't seem too difficult.
another site is drawing for dummies. It's for adults and may be more time consuming to learn.
hope this helps!

hey!
listen, nobody has the right to tell u that u suck, so dony worry about comments, you can always come up with some badass comeback.
about the actual question...
just look at the thing u r supposed to be illistrating, hear it, feel it, and remember the first thing that comes to your mind when you think about it, and then try to put it down on the paper.
sure some people are good at drawing and some people less, but iit doesnt have to be pretty, just real.

Hi, cheers from Uruguay, the only thing you can do is to explain the teacher your problem and ask her to let you change the drawings for pictures or get a friend to do the work. The 3rd one is difficult to explain for me (calcar en español), when I was in school and was not able to draw i used carbon paper for the lines and then i painted the spaces inside, excuse my very bad English.

I'm sure unless it's an art class your teacher doesn't expect you to be able to draw your own stuff. Do some searches on the web for images that you can use and print them out.

What about drawing them in a computer paint program? You could also trace pictures of what you need.
