It's not coincidence. The original verdict was supposed to be delivered on October 16 but then delayed until Nov. 5. Who funded the development of the court system under which he was tried? Who trained the judges of the tribunal and set up the laws that the tribunal used? Don't get me wrong, Saddam is evil and is getting what he deserved for a long time. But to say that the administration had no part in delaying the verdict until 2 days before the election would be just ignorant.

Rove, take that to the bank. Rove runs the White House. Everyone in Washington knows that to be fact. The story about the male and female ho_okers who drew a plan of the White House bedrooms was also a hoot.

I am just concern about the future repercusssions on other loonies like Saddam. What kind of message does this send to Kim Jong ll or the Iranian President? Do you think they will be scared or knowing that they will be killed anyways, they will fight to the death. Kim Jong ll knows that he will be put to death if capture, he probably would launch all the nukes North Korea has before giving up, ditto for the Iranian government. When you thinkg about that, you may realize there is not much to celebrate.

I'm just wondering if you wacky liberals use karl Rove to frighten your children into behaving. All these obviously brain-damaged people with the idea that Rove actually has any control over our government let alone a foreign government are becoming an annoyance. Karl Rove is a political advisor. Are you insinuating that Jim Carvell was running the Country while Billy Bob Clinton was busy getting his pipes cleaned?

So we got Saddam...good....sentencing coincedence? I think not...but who cares? Everyone agrees this guy deserves to go....Republicans and Democrats and the majority of the Iraquis and the rest of the world. What I want to know is where is Osama Bin Laden???? Ya think he is being held somewhere right now in secret by American forces and then Monday night.....ta dah..."Look who WE'VE found?" Now THAT would be a November surprise.

Why does it matter?

It doesn't matter and I personally don't appreciate "twisting" the motive. What if it were one day after the election? What would you say? How about 1 year before the election?

I was aware months ago that he would be sentenced days before the election. It was announced. This stuff never happens by accident.
