I don't think that the song is so much about the lyrics, which are ambigous as about the emotional release of the music.

when they were on tour a catch phrase they used to use all the time was 'the karma police will catch up on them sooner or later'
1st verse is about a man who's talking and making no sense 'talks in maths' and so on.. constantly going but your not taking anything from the conversation.
2nd verse is about girls who spend so much time on what the girl precieves as beautiful, 'hitler hairdo' is like a strenth in the physical beauty which makes him sick to see and they'll bring her back down to earth...
and so on, then there brought back to reality (for a minute there, i lost myself)

Im really not sure on this one, but if you go to www.greenplastic.com then click "Cold Storage" on the side menu, then click "Song Interpretations" you will get listeners' interpretations for most of their songs, not any of the newer ones. they dont accept postings anymore but it is full of a lot of good ones.
