Service dogs are allowed in restaurants. But they're always well groomed. They're too expensive and hard to get to not take care of them.

Also, service dogs would be laying on the floor. If you're worried about hair in your food, I would be more concerned about the person sitting next to you. Or your own head. Or the restaurant workers.

If its a seeing eye dog/service dog then I say there is no problem!

Can you imagine how many things that the blind person has to be around or endure UNKNOWINGLY everyday. I think that we can all deal and give an inch, and if we don't like it we can easily get up and find a new establishment to eat at.

Dogs are not only for blind, some dogs people need to detect seizures before they happen ect...
Before we get upset....be thoughtful about those who have such handicaps! Odds are you wont be forced to dine out with dogs everyday, this probably is a random event and if it isn't and it bothers you, then I would find a new place to eat.

Only if it is a seeing eye dog, or if I am in Seattle or San Francisco, or choose to eat outdoors on the tables provided by the restuarant bistro. Or if the pet is in a bag with air holes Some how small dogs r accesories like a pocket book

Absolutely! How would you feel if you were the person who depended on a service dog to guide you through life, and some jerk at the table next to you was making a big fuss about it?

Over here in Germany, people are allowed to bring their dogs in most places, including restaurants.

Well if it is a seeing eye dog what choice do you have? Blind people deserve to be able to go out and dine as well. I work in the restaurant industry and have seen many eye dogs and they NEVER have bothered anyone. They always just lay under its owners feet.

No, unless its a disability assistance animal, like a seeing eye dog. I don't care if its just a little dog, I won't eat in a restaurant with animals, unless they're served properly.

Blind people need to have their working dog with them. That is the law.

It would not bother me in the least. Those dogs are well trained. They will not touch food unless their person tells them they can eat.

I've never experienced that but I wouldn't mind. I am sure the owner would have the dog under control and it wouldn't cause any problems for me... I love dogs.

Seeing eye dog for the blind, yes. If a restuarant allows pets in their establishment and you do not, simple solution is not to eat there.
