Tiny we don't know what it is you are hiding, but if you think about it, there really are not a lot of places to hide any thing in a car. I would just suggest you hide it under your porch, in the garage, in a can in your cupboard, maybe behind the microwave. And one more thing, doesn't "tall" and "height" mean the same? Well good luck to you in finding that perfect hiding place. I don't understand it, but then I don't have to. But I would like to know what it is you are hiding.

cause most people are looking to hide drugs that's why (and they have dogs to sniff drugs and guns now)...
but many people hide key and key safes in many places.... depending upon how hard or easy you want to get to it but most hide it on the outside of the car under the plastic used for the wheel wells, on top the frame in the middle of the car, in the frame and such....
If you need it for say a house key , behind the glove box (if it's one that can be taken down with a little work by hand), under the dash board or even under the back seat (as most back seats hook)

If you have an object that is 4 inches tall as well as 1 inch in height you have bigger problems than where to hide it.

People hide stuff in the gas tank, inside tires, in the frame, in the oil pan, and everywhere else and the police still find it. They're pretty good at that.

under your spare tire, or behind your back seat. Back seats are easy to remove
