A few years ago I found a website that, through a series of questions, could determine the candidate that most share your views. Has anyone seen that website or know of one like it?

While many of you try to be helpful, others only insult. My desire to get this information is for a project that I'm working on for school. I am an intelligent human being and Iknow how to choose my candidates.

You should not rely on any website or other lazy form of voter information. The point is that voting is a responsibility. With that comes your own responsibility to investigate the candidates and their views. I realize this job has become more difficult with the spin that is put on the advertising. Would you buy any expensive item without investigation that purchase beyond the marketing and advertising? If the answer is no that please don't rely on biased media, spin and advertising to decide the future direction of your democracy as you also have to realize the effect that the fallout will have world wide. If you want to be part of a country that seeks world respect and that has a strong position in Global affairs, you must take your voting responsibility equally seriously. Please don't leave the rest of us hanging in the wind by making a decision based on poor information. (Remember the faulty intelligence?).

Take your sample ballot that came in the mail, and then do your own research. If you didn't get a sample ballot, ask your newspaper, library, or voting precinct for one. Then Vote for the Issues and Candidates That You're Prepared on. The ones you don't know about, you can skip. If there's only one item that you're sure about, you should still Go the The Polls and Vote on That One Item. Good luck / God bless.

there may be a group of political science students out there that may live in your area that may have complied a side by side comparison of the local candidates. check with your local colleges / student organizations. But careful as most people have an agenda that they will push, even while not seeming to.

You need to go to each of the canidates web site and find out what they stand for. Find the one you agree the most with and vote. Or you can go to the parties websites.

yes it is your unions website. How about trying to understand the issues instead of getting someone to tell you who to vote for. You are the reason why the dems have power because someone else tells you who to vote for.

If there is such a website, you should disregard it for your own sake.In individuals, insanity is rare; but in groups, parties, nations, and epochs it is the rule.
