They say they are freshening up, but really they are taking a poop!

The real question here is not why do they take a long time, but why do they always have to go in groups? If my wife and I are out to dinner with some other couples, and 1 woman says she must excuse herself to the ladies room, the other women will always go with her!! Why??!! Sure, I can understand the concept of wanting to be a team player and all, but in the restroom? Personally, I need no help or "extra enthusiasm" when I go to the john. And I know of other men who have asked the same question.
And why do they take their purses? Everything you need to take care of business in the restroom is already in there! Isn't the purse just superfluous baggage at this point?

We have to sit and do the thing and we wash up after, the blow drying thing takes a long time to really dry your hands. We look to see our faces and hair and any repairs needed.

Sometimes there's a line.
Sometimes we just need to sit down and rest our feet from walking around in high heels all day.
Sometimes we are reapplying make up.
Sometimes we are chatting. (most likely)
Sometime we have to wash the seat (I keep clorox wipes in my purse to clean and disinfect every seat I plant on).
Sometimes we have to make a call.
Gosh, it could be ANYTHING...don't try to find out, just understand and be patient! That's a good man.

Don't try to figure out a woman just enjoy the end result, especially if it's all for you. it's OK to wonder about such things when it comes to woman but don't dwell on it. if we knew why they did things the way they do them it would take all the fun and mystery out of being with them.

We can't just whip it out and go like guys can. And make sure our make-up and clothes look okay. And we wash our hands!!!
