I wouldn't go that far. Your concept of what is going on is correct, but I still wouldn't push it that far. I do not agree with Bush's tactics/or Blair's...but Saddam is an evil, evil, evil man. He tortured and killed for pleasure. I believe President's Bush/Blair's actions have cost thousands of soliders' lives...but it wasn't done for the pleasure of killing Iraqis. It was more for the pleasure of getting his daddy's enemy at the cost of our men and women.
Okay, no matter how you look at it. Bush/Blair were wrong. The only good thing that happened is saddam can not killfor his own pleasure and soon enough the Iraqis will see a dictator is not in control...the USA is. Oh, wait that is wrong, too! sorry, I can not make a valid point to why Bush/Blair shouldn't recieve the same treatment Saddam is given.

of course not. saddam hussein is going to be hanged because iraq cannot manage his secure life - long imprisonment for the evil crimes he has committed against his own citizens. very specific attacks against shi'ites and kurds. he has been found guilty of those crimes and unless his appeal is successful or interfering european union countries like my own prevent it by diplomatic means, he will have to hang. the world could not afford for him to be broken out of prison by misguided supporters.

george bush and tony blair on the other hand have never even been accused of mass murder of their own citizens. without accusations there can be no investigations, without investigations, no court cases, no convictions, no penalties. to be totally hypothetical and assume that they both had done such things and all the processes went positively then bush would hang if convicted in his own state but not if he was convicted in most other states. blair wouldn't hang because we don't have the death penalty.

if both were in prison for these hypothetical crimes, neither would be broken out of their jails by supporters. british and us electorates are apathetic and our prisons are very secure in terms of keeping the prisoners in. now could they be got at by their opponents or family of the murder victims, yes that kind of thing happens all the time. might they be hung, yes very probably. it is a good way of killing people in prison as it is difficult to prove they didn't do it themselves.

now, if you are proposing that we ignore the law and rise up against them and hang them, i don't think that you would really have the balls when it came to it and i and most people in our generally tolerant societies would resist you.

a better place with one or either of them dead ? unlikely. you can't heap the ills of the whole world on those two men. there will be plenty worse to replace them. if you want to make the world a better place, write a manifesto, form a political party, get some support and get elected or stop complaining - did you even vote in the elections that elected either of these two men ?
