Stop smoking. This isn't a lecture, it's the truth. If you've just taken it up, it won't be a problem. You're putting yourself in a situation where you'll be rejected by a lot of people because you smoke. Nonsmokers don't want to be around smokers, and there are a lot more of them. I used to smoke but quit a long time ago. Save yourself lots of time and trouble, and give it up now.

You can't control your embarrassment? Oh! maybe that is one of the effect of taking a cigarrete, you should stop it, but stopping it may cause you irritation, just like the feeling of.... you had left something but you don't know what is it and you keep asking yourself what you had left (I am not smoking but I read that strange reaction in an article), if you will stop it and you felt like this, you can have a lollipop or most specifically the "Chupa-Chups" (Is the spelling right?) instead of a ciigarette, cause this lollipop has an ingredients that controls irritation? And that substance is I do not really know, but it's not a bad choice after all.

Choosing to have a cigarette is a personal choice, not an evil or maladjusted one. I think people have become a little crazy about smoking.

Of course, I am not suggesting you pick up this habit, I just think people have gone way to far with it. I am not a smoker (by choice), I eat too much. I can't tell you how many doctors, nurses, lawyers, judges and professionals that I know of that smoke occasionally - sorry that so many think of this an an excessive "evil", but I don't.

Most men, upon discovering you smoke, will dump you. They might not do it right away but they will eventually.

Welcome to the world of smoking. Where you feel bad all the time and the habit takes from you and takes from you and takes from you, while giving nothing in return. Then you die young.

Is it worth it?
