You're slightly on the heavy side but no, you're not HUGE. Look at what kinds of snacks and sweets and junk foods, sodas you're eating throughout the day. Cut those and drink water instead whenever you want to eat them. Just that will help you lose ALOT of weight over about 2 weeks... If you have time, exercise!! And remember to keep this up as a part of a healthy lifestyle. DO NOT skip meals or starve yourself. I've been down that road and it's not pretty. Good luck!

I think this is a problem you can discuss with parents or with a teacher, nurse or doctor.
In general to be healthy you need to get enough sleep, eat healthy food at the right times and the right amounts, and also get exercise.
Sleep is important because people who are tired all the time are not able to eat or exercise properly. You should go to sleep at night and be awake in the daylight, so that you can spend time outside in daylight each day.
Exercise every day if you can. If every day is not possible, then try at least four times a week. This could be once or twice on weekends or your day off, when you could do a long exercise, and then at least two weekdays, like Monday and Thursday. However, it is better to do 30 minutes everyday of a light exercise, like walking, than to do very hard exercise only occasionally.
Good exercises are walking or swimming. Some men enjoy weight training, and this is good for girls too, but fewer girls enjoy weight training. It is important that you enjoy the exercise, because it is something you need to keep doing during your life. So if you go walking, you need to find a safe route to walk, with enjoyable scenery, and it helps a lot to have friends that walk with you. Sometimes it is possible to walk instead of taking a car or bus.
Other ways to exercise are to join a sports team, if you feel that you could enjoy it.
Eating healthy food is something you need to educate yourself. What are the healthy foods? Read all the contents on the labels of the food you eat.
If you are trying to lose weight, try to eat less fat, oil and sugar. You many need to study a book on diet and health to learn about this. There are probably books available from the library.
The foods you should eat are:
raw fruit
vegetables
low fat milk or yogurt
some fish and meat, but not too much because these are high in fat and oil.
whole grain (such as whole grain bread, rye bread, wheat kernels, oatmeal, brown rice)
seeds (such as sunflower seeds, watermelon seeds, poppy seeds, sesame seeds)
This is a big subject with much more to learn than I can write here. It may take you a while to about all this. You need to find someone to teach you. Maybe your mother or father could teach you about health, or you could learn at school.

Also remember that you're still growing. The average age for a girl to stop growing height is 16 yrs. Numbers are just numbers. If you see a dr on a yearly basis and they have no problems with you than you're good to go. Of course it's never too early to start taking health serious. Look to the food pyriamid, and keep an active lifestyle. During puberty, it's very important that you get the needed calcium to prevent osteoporosis in later years. Of course if you do "fad diets" just make sure you're also taking a multivitamin/mineral. You're not huge or even overweight. Anyone who says other wise are probably 10 yr old anorexics!!!!

hello. since you are 12, i would try and enroll in a gym class at your school. if not, have your parents help you find a recreational center and enroll in some excersing classes. there are tons of things out there like swimming, indoor sports, etc. if you have an older sibiling maybe he/she can take you to your nearst gym. if you don't want to do any of that, then you should start off by finding a friend that wants to join you for runs. or, even your parents. try and talk with your parents about this, you wont know how much great support you'll get.

Dont worry i wont be mean!First your eating habits, you cant eat out of fast food places unless it is a salad! And try to stay away from alot of meat becaus emeat is cause d to block your digestive system up and store the meat that is blocking your digestive system up and store it as fat! Most people gain weight because they are not going to the bathroom often enough!(u dont booboo)You ar esuppose to dod this atleast 2 times a day!If you are not going to the bathroom atleast 2 times a day you need to take a natural liquid that can be bought from the health food store called Flax Oil!It helps you to go to the bathroom! One thing you dont want to do is go to the doctor because he will most likely decribe you medication which is not good in any way because you want to use the bathroom naturally not by using or taking medication! And most of all dont skip meals this causes you to gain even more weight!Eat three meals a day and limit your snacking to 1 time a day! When you snack make it a healthy snack such as a fruit salad or carrots and celery!AND U MUST NOT EAT ANY SUGARY FOODS!Most people who go on diets eat one sweet food and say it is okay no it isnt one sweet food can possibly cause you to gain one pound or even more looking at the nutrition facts! Then you have to work out atleast 5 times a week for an hour a day!For your legs and thighs you can get on a tred mil, ride a blike, walk to the park, sit in sit up position and hold it there for atleast 30 sconds!for your stomach you can do sit ups or even go but 6 second abs or the ab lounge!Abd if you wan tmore exercises or you think you will need help getting started you can go to the local library and rent exercise tapes or even check out books on workout and diets! If you get on a diet stay on one because th eminute you quite and you will start to gain weight and more than you lose!So if you call off your diet start eating small portions of the foods you want to eat dont attack the cookie jar!And when you start you diet dont stop eating at all cut down your portions day by day or if you feel week by week!
