God I hope not. It would be a blessing if they just shut up and took their medicine.

Here we go again -- another person who thinks that the court that convicted and sentenced Hussein was an American court.
News flash, sir or madam: the court that tried, convicted, and sentended Saddam was an IRAQI court, not an American one. (And certainly not a Republican Party one.)
His trial, conviction, and sentence was the Iraqis' show -- not ours.
If you really think that the trial of a former dictator by a foreign court will have any effect on an American midterm election, then you need to take a class or two.

I don't think so...because I'm afraid that they won't have to. Too many people are struck by the "Stay the Course" concept, and won't change horses no matter what. I'm hoping otherwise, of course, but I fear that there will be no backlash against the Republicans after all.
My sincerest hope is that they throw the b*st*rds out!
But that's just me, I could be wrong.

Won't matter to me because I made up my mine they have to go no matter what! The candy store is about to CLOSE!!! I can't wait for the investigations to nail these scum bags! I would tend to think all of your respondents who disagree with your assesment of the "republicans" are probably "self employed business owners" that have been enjoying the free hand outs from the candy store! Now they can start paying their fair share back to the coffers!!!!!!!
We'll never see large scale change until people stop voting the millionaires and billionaires into office!!!!

Don't forget the gay scandals!!! I am starting to think the republicans are throwing the 2006 election to the democrats (because they are screwing up, left, right, down and gay). this way, they can blame the Democrats in 2008 for all the Republican mishaps left behind and re-steal the presidency...
