Not nervous at all.

If the Democrats win the House and/or the Senate, Bush ends up pulling out the veto pen, and Democrats don't have enough votes to override (in fact, given the cast of candidates they're having to field to get to the point that they can take over, they'll only nominally control Congress, as many of their new candidates are closer to the GOP than they are to people like Pelosi).

So, nothing will happen for two years. Which hopefully means no more new regulations, no more increased taxes, no more government in my life than it already is. And that's the best news any true Republican could hope for.

No Way !
Even if the dems take some seats , it only means they have 2 years to show the country how fouled up they are before the elections in 2008 .
John Kerry rides again !
and falls off .

Historically, it's normal for a second-term president to see his party take losses in midterm congressional elections.

In fact, in such situations, the Dems this year are set to win a much lower percentage of seats than the historical average.

The Dems will pick up seats -- probably enough to retake the House, and maybe even enough to retake the Senate. But this is just the normal order of things in the world of politics.

Not hardly. Win or lose the country will become fed up with those radical liberals very shortly. Their major theme is to divide the Country, therefore, they do not represent half of us. They will self-destruct...count on it.
