Oh dear. Had the same thing myself, my son and his girlfriend. Doesn't seem to do any harm, just a pain in the bum. You can try what you like to remove it and you will fail. You can delete every file that contains mention of it anywhere on your computer in any way, shape or form you like, and it will still be there.
But, give it time,. It goes of its own accord after so long. Just vanishes.

Spybot - Search & Destroy detects and removes spyware, a relatively new kind of threat not yet covered by common anti-virus applications. Spyware silently tracks your surfing behaviour to create a marketing profile for you that is transmitted without your knowledge to the compilers and sold to advertising companies. If you see new toolbars in your Internet Explorer that you haven't intentionally installed, if your browser crashes inexplicably, or if your home page has been "hijacked" (or changed without your knowledge), your computer is most probably infected with spyware. Even if you don't see the symptoms, your computer may be infected, because more and more spyware is emerging. Spybot-S&D is free, so there's no harm giving it a try to see if something has invaded your computer.

this will take a lot of work . frist take your computer to the center of the room. then go get your tool box . remove the cover from the computer . then take a look inside your see the computer motherboard and all parts of your computer then take your hammer out of your tool box and start bashing down on your dvd drive till it pops out . when that is done start bashing the ram card's then move on to the ethernetcard. then your video card. when all that is done take a look at the motherboard. now from here. you bash into the center of the motherboard. when that is down take the computer to a open park . get in your car . and run over it 100 times . when that is done go home your have no more problems with virus when at home rip your internet modrm out when that is done rip the phoneline out. and then go back off to watch tv
