The fact that God had no beginning, and has no end. Absolutely baffling.

There are a couple of things that make my mind seem like a bikini on Rosie O'Donnell ...
Infinity. I mean, I know the concept, but visualizing it has always been beyond me.
The "infinite yet bounded" universe. If the universe is expanding, what is it expanding INTO?
Sort of the same thing. What came before the beginning? What comes after the end? How is time? Where is the universe? All really the same question.
Of course, the simple-minded will just mumble "God" and walk away from the uncomfortable truths. And the thoughtful (as I count myself) will get drunk and forget about the whole thing because ultimately, there's just no knowing.
My mind can wrap these issues, but is too small to go all the way around.

The Supreme Court ruling the that the McCain Fiengold law banning free speech is somehow constitutional.

But five Supreme Court Justices said it was (one of them in thankfully gone now) so I guess I am misreading the Constitution.

Boy am I a dummy.....

they say god was always there, but he had to start somewhere right? i cant image him or anything without a beginning. you cant just always be there! so, if he started, what made him? whenever i think about it, i just go in circles. Also, if space is expanding, what is it expanding into? not more space.
