I would say do something you think is fun. Try something new. Hang out with some people you find fun and exciting. I get sad sometimes and there are only certain things that make me happy like shopping or hanging out with my two best friends. Watch your favorite show these are just some things I do try them out and see how they work for you.

I try to get my mind off things for awhile. I go for a walk with my dog, call or get together with a friend, see a movie, etc. It's important to create some kind of diversion so as not to get overwhelmed with whatever's making me sad. Usually, that gives me enough perspective to get past whatever's bothering me.

I go call up my saddest prettiest friend and go to her house, and let her tell me all about her problems...not only does being around a pretty girl who I can call a friend make me feel good, giving her advice cheers both of us up when it makes her feel better.

I like soft, wordless music, a book to distract me, someone else to help and remove focus from myself.
