If you are truly in love with someone you never forget them. They are forever imprinted upon your heart. That is not a bad thing. However, the challenge is to get moving forward, and on with your life. Just set some goals to do some new things, learn something new, spend some time with good friends, keep yourself busy. The emotional lose will lessen with time. And just look at it as lesson learned. All of life is a series of lessons. This too shall pass! And obviously God has someone else for you! Good luck and God bless

I'm not sure what the best way is for you to forget this the person you love - because everybody is different - but when I needed to do it - heres what I did...

I thought about all the other things I loved besides him. Hanging out with friends, performing in plays, taking classes, watching movies, swimming - etc. And I did them all as much as possible - and took good care of myself. I was still sad - and felt so helpless sometimes - but I just kept going. My friends were a HUGE help. They were very supportive and helped to keep me busy - and my MIND busy.

Unfortunately, the truth is - that it took time. You've probably heard it said that "time heals all" - and it's usually true.

God will guide you to just the right place. God is smart like that. It might not feel like it right now - but the Universe has a fabulous plan for you - and if you know that in your heart - it will reveal itself to you.

Take good care of yourself and love yourself. Your own mind is just about the only thing you can control - so do it!!

Blessings!
