no. the laptops has a auto cut off when the batteries are 100% charged. so no damage to batteries or laptop when they are charged and running at AC power.
but u can do occassional tests to check battery power by working on battery for some time..

Usually not but if you are battery is full, disconnect the main power let it go upto say 50-70% & then use the AC power again. Most of the people I know who use laptops have'nt had any issues in the past.

generally, no nothing happens. i am sure you heard the news about the battery recalls that have been going around recently so, to be 1000% sure, call hp and go to their technical help. tell them your model number and ask them if there is a battery recall for that particular model. if so, then immediatly take out the battery and send it to them. they will then send you a new one which should be safe. usually, what happens is that if you have a battery in, it generates heat. so when i have my power cord in, i take my battery out only because of the heat it makes. good luck

you can charged battery then remove it if ur going to keep using ur power supply but use ur battery now & then do not remove da . power cable from side of laptop while pc is on alway;s shut down ur laptop .then switch off power from power outlet befor you remove power cable from side of laptop if you remove power cable from side of laptop while power is still switch on at power point you can damage ur power supply inside ur laptop

Actually it will charge the battery, during the use to some extent.

hey,
right nw iam using my laptop on ac power only n nothing is happening to me not to my laptop or its battery.i don't think u will have some problem working on ur laptop on ac power.
