Yahoo e-mail doesn't do it.Please exactly explain to me what to do, as I haven't tried it before.Thanks.And also my connection speed is around 30-40 K.How would this affect the process of sending such huge files? Is it possible to do so with such a low speed?

for the speed u mention it is rather difficult and connection may time out before u could upload the file.
u should have better speed preferably broadband.

but i dont think that sending pictures ie JPG, GIF etc smaller than say abt 1 MB should be a problem. upload time will be long but larger file may fail.
try adding the pics to yahoo photos and send ur friends invitation to watch them

If you have Windows XP highlight all the files you want to send and then right click one of them while highlighted, go to Send To > Compressed (zipped) folder, and the files will be zipped together, WinRAR or WinZip can unzip them, but Windows XP can unzip itself. This file should be able to be sent through Yahoo, unless the file is too big, if it is you will have to use another Email service. You could also upload the files onto the internet and send the person a hyperlink to download or open them. If you havent got Windows XP, download and install WinZip or WinRAR from www.download.com and then you will have the options to add to archive.

Split the files into smaller parts using programmes like `splitit' and then send the small parts to your friend as atachments.. once he/she has received all the parts he/she can join them together using a batch file which is created by `splitit' when you splitted the original file. You can also upload the same to file hosting sites like the one mentioned below:
