Have you reset your home page under Tools>Internet Options and then under the General tab put the page you want?

You either hadn't set your home page correctly or you have a malware that has tried to hijack your browser

Edit yor preferences for the start up page to be what ever you desire.

That is the preference of the application, that you see right now.

Why don't you obey the DHS, and US CERT and http://getfirefox.com ??? It is FREE and blocks pop-ups!
