that a remote system is trying to access my computer? Or something like that. Is that Norton? I always say block.

You are doing the right thing by blocking it.

A remote system is another computer on the internet (or network, if you're on one). A lot of times this can be someone trying to install malicious software onto your machine.

It could be harmless but its not worth taking the risk if you're not sure.

okay...you can take some steps to know correct reason.

do system full scan and if you find any remote Trojan or virus delete it.

do scan for anti spam also ( IE. search and destroy ) Microsoft recommend this antispem.

or you can do on line scan with microtrand

An external computer is probing your IP address to see if it can open a vulnerability on your computer. Probably a spambot looking for another victim to spam from
