First, you have to register for competitions like Ranji Trophy and after your performance in these competitions, the national cricket board selects you for national games and after that , the board decides that if you are capable to go in international cricket umpiring league. If you are successful in this league , then only you will be given the highest position in the umpiring league i.e., of Elite umpire.
