All I can say is DAVID STERN SUCKS!

He's using a bunch of small rule changes to change the league's image after a BIG screw-up a few players AND fans caused in Detroit a couple of years ago. People in general think the league is full of thugs, all because a few guys ran into the stands throwing punches, so now David has to get that idea out of people's heads. Making them look nice while they sit on the bench, and stopping their whining is a good start, and I hope the owners approve his proposed "No Gun" rule. But again, it's just a start. He has a long way to go to change a lot of people's minds.

David Stern was a great commissioner back in the 90's to me. But now, I hate the changes he's starting to make, the new ball, the no tolerance rule, the nba dress code, etc. Yeah, it's time! Two technicals and you're out! Sorry Stern, your reign is over.

No but he's going a little overboard it seems...the ball didn't need to be changed...the complaining to officials did need to be changed...setting up a code of conduct for owners didn't need to happen...as owners they should be able to do whatever they want as long as it isn't counterproductive to the game. So unless Mark Cuban was running out on the court or throwing things at refs, he should be allowed to sit by the bench and act like a fan if he wants...he's earned that right, in my opinion

Yep. He made the Rasheed Wallace rule, so you can't even talk to a ref or you will get a technical, and he authorized that stupid new ball to be used. He is just a bad leader of the NBA this year. He was decent in previous years and he decides now to make all the bad descisions.

He has some good ideas, but his approach in getting them done is where the friction comes from
