Don't give oral sex immediately afterwards.
Oh you miserable, thumb-downing b*stards if the guy's 17 this is perfectly valid advice!

What do you use - blade or electric? If it is a blade, then you should change your shaving soap because it may be a reaction. It may be an infection that is getting into the beard follicles. If you use a razor, clean it with an appropriate disinfectant to get rid of the possibility of reinfection. For both, don't attempt to shave real close. The end of the hair may be caught in your face and give this trouble.

step by step guide to the persect shave -
1)Shave after a bath/shower - this will ease the hair folicles making it easier to shave
2)Rinse face with warm water
3) Use a shaving oil and rub into skin in circular motions - BUT KEEP THE FACE DAMP AT ALL TIMES
4) Usea foam/gel and use the same motions as with the oil
5) Sahve in the direction of hair growth, going against it will cause irritation
6) In order shave these parts of the face first
>Sides of Face
> Top of neck
> Bottom of neck
> Shave the moustace area and chin until last as these are the more stubborn brsitles and the longer you leave the gel/foam on for it will help
7) rinse face with COLD water to close the pores
8) DAMP DRY FACE
9) Use both a moisturiser and aftershave balm - Nivea do a good range

I used to get skin sores. I worked out that it was my skin reacting to being shaved because it happened with a sharp razor as well.
Now I shave only once or twice a week and I don't get them any more.
I have accepted that as a male I am supposed to have hair on my face. Constantly removing all of it hasn't worked for me. Letting it grow a few days does work for me.

you need to use the right products! maybe you're using a moisturiser that's too strong -you need something light: check out men's ranges from clinique or biotherme homme.
also, how do you look after your skin on a day to day basis? again, go to selfridges or somewhere where they can advise you on your specific skin requirements.
you mention you get spots -are they just blemishes, or is it actually a shaving rash? again, seek professional advice!

make sure you soften the bristles really well - warm water is best. Work the shaving stuff in (I recommend a low lather gel - boots botanics is cheap and good) and then go slowly with a sharp blade - blunt blade is the worst shaving sin.
If you can shave in the shower, this might be a good way to make sure your bristles get and stay soft.

I switched to an electric - and have had no problems since. When you use your electric shaver, DON'T PRESS HARD, - apply CORNSTARCH lightly before shaving. Go slow. And don't shave every day - do every other day - it's better for the skin.
don't use razor blades ever again. go out & buy that electric now !!!!

in addition to answer 2...
Prior to shaving, wash your hair, or your face with Hot water and soap... soften the stubble up and don't yank on the razor... move in nice easy, smooth strokes that last one motion.
So... wash your face with hot water prior to applying the Shaving Gel.
Apply Shaving Gel,
Take a nice clean sharp razor
Take long smooth strokes in one motion to remove facial hair.
Wash with cold water afterwards and apply shaving balm to sooth skin.

See a doctor for one good reason These days there are certain razors that are not compatible with our skin & it may well be that you are one of those people,I for instance cannot use electric razors.
