my pc works fine but my daughter has been given a lap top with win95 a usb conector but no cd .i have got an external cd dvd but requier driver for win95 so i can upgrade to win 98or even xp all the driver down load sites i have tried say will scan my pc and up date drivers IT NOT FOR MY PC can any one help

usb + 95 = good luck but you can go to www.driverguide.com its free but you have to register

Guess I don't quite understand your problem.
Why don't you connect the laptop to your internet connection and let the driver site scan it and install the driver directly to it?
