Good question! I watched a show recently where these guys are Roto Rooter employees in their 'day jobs' and have their own business "TAPS" (The Atlantic Paranormal Society) at night with nice black SUVs, cool looking logos on t-shirts & a TV team to film them...and no mention of any training/qualifications whatsoever. I thought, "Hey, I can do that!"
Really, I would think there should be SOME associations or courses for this - to give at least an air of credibility?

Absolutely no qualifications are needed. You will be maligned by 90% of those you come across though, and the other 10% will be gullible fools who don't care for you qualifications - they are already believers!
