My friend likes them but i don't really so I want to know your opinion.

i've had my tongue peirced for like 5 years now. and yes im a guy. my wife has no complaints, and she got her's pierced when we met. It's uncomfortable at first, but once u get used to it, it's fine. i'm kinda gettin sick of it so i take it out once in a while. Like most of the other people said it came around mostly for sexual pleasures, i got mine just to be cool, hehe. As for infections, if u take care of it right, you won't have a problem, no one i know that has it pierced has had a problem.

They have some pretty cool looking bars out to put into your tongue but the risks that go with having the piercing are not worth it for me. You can get some pretty bad infections that can go straight to your brain and cause damage. You also can damage your teeth by hitting them with the bar or biting down on it. Dentists and Neurologists are horrified by the damage they see done by this kind of piercing.

I'm sorry I don't like them. Whats the point of having a piercing in your mouth, wait there is no point unless you enjoy walking with your mouth open to show people. Sorry that my opinion.

Tongue piercing is yesterday's trend. I think it was a fad.

I like them, but not on my tongue! They say it's cool when you kiss someone (a french kiss).

They tell me the girl is a tramp. The original purpose of the peircing is for sex acts. If you don't whan that to be the 1st impression people have when meeting you don't get it.

I think it is super digusting.i wonder how their soulmate kiss them? and i recently got my ear pierced and it is super irritating as i need to clean them and blah blah . so imagine you got your tongue pierced. wouldn't it be even more messy.
