Can a new President be elected in a Mid-term Election?

Well, he could be impeached if congress chose to do so, but then Cheney would step and be President, so no there would not be a mid term presidential election.

No, unless President Bush is impeached, he serves office until Jan. 2009. A Democratic congress, however, can take away much of Bush's ability to push his political agenda.

People needs to stop listening to media that lies about the President and everything he does. NO he can't be thrown out he has only two years left. CAN'T YOU PEOPLE WAIT FOR TWO MORE YEARS? I been Married for 4 years and those years had been going pretty quickly.

NO, however his power can be eliminated by congress. Get democrats in both house and senate and Bush will have a really hard time doing anything that many are unhappy with.

He was never in congress and the constituton does not provide for a mid term election. I think he has been a fine president. Have you checked the economy, stock market, and unemployment lately, or do you just listen the idiot Democratic rhetoric?
