I wouldn't trust strangers advice on this board with medical questions. So my advice is to call your doctor and see what they suggest. It's always better to be safe than sorry. Especially with your young children's health!
Good luck.

Oh my gosh honey, some of these answers are way to exagerrated! There should be no problem at all....it was only a little round marble after all. Everything should be fine! Just watch her bowel movements and try to keep in mind how long it took to pass, that way you will be prepared for the next time! Baby's swallow unknown things all the time, children eat bugs, swallow pennies and rocks. Call a doc only if she seems to be in any kind of pain, or if it doesnt pass soon. But i assure you she will be fine!

She should be ok, since it is rounded. My sister swallowed a penny. Came out after a few days. Nice and shiny. Just watch your daughter for any symptoms of discomfort. I'm assuming it was a shiny glass marble? That shouldn't cause any problems. If it was a clay marble then you should contact the doctor since some clays and their glazes can be poisonous.

If she indeed swallowed it and it is in her stomach don't worry though I would alert the Dr. If it is a clay marble it will disolve, if glass it will pass through without a problem. Same if it is a hard rubber one

Absolutely take your child to the ER. It might seem like something small. But, remember that their intestines are small and it can create a serious obstruction. I wouldn't take the chance. Your child's safety is not worth risking by waiting it out.

omg...yes call the doctor and ask him...it's better to be safe than sorry later...it might just be a very painful bowel movement...but call u never know...accidents happen....but be sure to keep a closer eye on them...they have a habit of pickin up what we might not see...try getting down on the floor and looking around...u would be amazed at what u don't see from our standing position....good luck!

Immediatly call the Dr. It could have made it into one of her lungs. And if it should take it's natural course.... it might get lodged in one of the baby's intestines. ALWAYS call the Dr. That is what you pay them for!!

Call the ambulance and get to the hospital quick. It may be alright, but why take a chance with the life of your baby

If it went diown her throat it should (she should) be fine. As long as it wasn't something that has jagged edges or protrutions that could hang up in the intestines which doesn't seem to be the problem.
