The rumour is that Kurt was about to serve divorce papers on Courtney and that she stood to gain far more as the widow of a rock icon rather than a divorcee.
I was watching something the other night about this and some hitman said that at one stage he had been approached by Courtney's 'people' and asked how much his fees were.
Kurt is said to have been so under the influence at the time that people wonder how it was possible for him to do anything unaided, never mind lift, aim and point a gun with such accuracy

Well from what I read I don't think Kurt killed his self. Courtney or whatever just made it look like that. She was jealous and they weren't in good terms at the time either. So I think that she did and I hate her for it. She's sooo retarded and Kurt was soo hott and I loved and still love all his songs. I hope they get her for this becuase I know she had something to do with it. Why the hell would Kurt kill himself if he had such good music and plenty of fans. I think he loved life and you know what I think? IT WAS THAT ***** COURTNEY!

yes he did...and it's a sad shame. The man was brilliant and talented. And Courtney may be a messed up woman...but she wasn't even around when he killed himself.

I never have believed that Kurt killed himself. Not only is that form of suicide hard to pull off - he lived with and was in love with a crazy woman!!! Either she killed him or caused his alleged suicide.
