I want to go to barbizon modeling and acting center to get training then go to New York to find an agency im thinking about using models.com to find an agency I want to model and keep going back and forth to Ny every week I live 14 hours away you think they'll work out or will I have to just move to NY??

I think you should go for it. If you want to be a model then you need to do whatever it takes as long as it's nothing like sex. There is alot of competition but I'm sure you'll beat it. Don't let people change your mind for you by saying that you have to think about all the other girls that want to be models. There IS gonna be criticism but you can get passed all that if that's what you really want to do. I'm sure of it. I think it might be better for you to move to NY. It will save you alot of money because driving 14 hours can get a bit costy. But if you lived in New York you would have more time to rest, eat, and practice ur modeling in the mirror. Good luck to you! I hope you find yourself a good agent...(I want to become an actress as soon as I get done with highschool.)

Barbizon modeling and acting center called me before but I couldn't go to the appointment it's going to get really expensive going back and forth every week unless you know someone that is willing to let you stay at there home for free you need to first find a cheap apartment that's in a nice neighborhood.

Girl it is great that you want to be a model I do to really bad but it is not that easy remember you are going to go through allot of up and downs you need to prepare yourself for that you need alot of disipline if I was you it depends on your age I would go to NY if that is what you really want go for it trust yourself and make the best out of it you only have one life enjoy it while it last another thing if I was you I would see if I can get into ford model agencies this is one of the best agencies around always be strong and put in your head somewhere that you are there for a reason and only for the reason to be a model to be what you want to be girl if you really want somethig you work for it and never give up go for it you can be POSITIVE that is really important be independant good luck BE what you want and make the best out of it !!!!!! ;)

I think that most likely you will have to move to NY because it most likely is going to get real expensive going back and forth every week! Atleast waht i think is i would move to NY! Well that is my 2 cents... hope everything works out for you! :)
