u need to allow 24 hrs between coats with either stain or finish coat....need min. 3 coats of what ever sealer u r using....thats 4 days alone.....plus the clean up and delays in drying time.....5-6 days...

You should allow 24 hours for the stain to dry, and 24 hours for each additional coat of finish. Ambient temperature and humidity will have an effect on it.

The stain you used should have a dry time on the can check it .different brand,s take longer and some dry very quick.
