American Trilogy is comprised of three songs. Of course I can’t remember one of them, but the other 2 are Battle Hymn of the Republic and Dixie. This song was written for Elvis and he sang it well, but it wasn’t a big a hit as he would have liked it to have been, especially when it was released. I’ve heard the studio version and the live version. The live version (like from Aloha from Hawaii) is FANTASTIC! That’s all the info I have.

Carl Perkins became strictly a Rock-A-Billy singer. Elvis, whilst he became with sunlight information, sang Rock-A-Billy, yet as quickly as he went to RCA gave it up. BTW Elvis began earlier Carl Perkins. It became Elvis' version of "Blue Moon of Kentucky" that inspired Carl Perkins to commence recording track. Jerry Lee Lewis, as quickly as he grew to alter right into a solo artist became by no potential a Rock-A-Billy singer. earlier starting to be a solo act, he did play consultation piano for sunlight information for countless of Carl Perkins' & Johnny money's early songs. I thoroughly disagree, of all the genres below the Rock & Roll umbrella: Rock, Pop, Rock-A-Billy, Doo ***, complicated Rock, Acid Rock, Psychedelic Rock, and so on. Rock-A-Billy lasted the longest. From Rock-A-Billy you get Punk Rock & usa Rock, apart from Rock-A-Billy remains the selection one type in Europe.
