after the stitches have been removed and had 3 months of PT that included ultrasound and electrical stimuli. what else can help? any creams? massaging? drinking lots of water?

Scar tissue massage. You can use mederma, vitamin E lotion, etc but the technique is important. Place your fingers on the scar perpendicular to the scar. Press down until you feel firm resistance. Move your fingers across the scar tissue back and forth. Do this for 30 seconds to 2 minutes. You need to make sure you are mobilizing the scar tissue underneath the skin, not on the skin itself.

You can try massage with lotion; however, if your scar is significant you might need a doctor to release the strictures surgically. I'd try the massage and stretching the area gently. Godloveya.
