Bear in mind that before you search for this movie in the UK, it was released here simply as The Grinch.

I'd say it's unlikely that any cinema will show a six year old movie, and most cinemas I've seen in Central Scotland (i.e. the Showcase at Bargeddie, the UGC / Cineworld or the old Odeon in Glasgow) would rescreen The Nightmare Before Christmas around Christmas time. Still, there's always a chance :)

If you'd like to see it around Christmas time, not many cinemas publish their listings that far in advance. According to s1play.com's listings, nowhere is currently scheduled to show The Grinch ... but you can keep checking that site throughout November and December as the listings are updated.

You can also purchase The Grinch on DVD. You can buy it on Amazon for as little as £1.97, or you can buy a triple pack DVD with The Grinch, Nanny McPhee (with Emma Thompson), and Peter Pan (with Jason Isaacs and Lynn Redgrave) for £14.99.

(ps, if you're looking for the 1966 cartoon, that's available on DVD too!)

Since it has been released on DVD, unless they are having a "special showing", you may be out of luck

I think you may be out of luck with cinemas.
It will probably be on TV or you could always buy/rent the DVD.
