If you connect it via your USB it will show up as an extra drive attached to your computer . Just right click onto the file you want to send . and select " Send to " ... from there you locate the device from the list ..
As far as i know there is no dedicated software to do this like there is for the ipod

I'm afraid I'm not quite sure what you mean... iPod's are accesable through PC... :{
