Ok picture what I am about to tell you has happened to you.
You are dating a girl for years, she gets prenant by you.She decides to have an abortion against your wishes, which is her "Right".Her reason for doing this is the thought of getting fat and ruining her body.So you break it off.She gets mad and starts to hate you.She later regrets doing what she did and gets gealus over you and your NEW FREE LIFE,dating other women and so on.When people ask her why did you two break up,she tells them that she broke up with you because you pushed her down, kicked her which resulted in a mis-carrage,when in fact this did not happen.
What would you do about this, when she is Slandering your name around town as a "Wife Beater" and saying basically you caused the death of the child,in so many words.
Would you ignore this and continue to let her slander your good name,or would you take her to civil court?

absolutely take her to civil court, if you don't resolve the issue while it is fresh in everyones mind you will regret it for the rest of your life. what she is doing is slander, it is not only illegal but fairly easy for you to prove

Trying to prove a slander lawsuit is difficult. And costly.

I had a parallel situation happen to me. I had someone that I trusted start lying about things I said and did, and basically ruined dozens of friendships and trashed my reputation in the community.

I had the choice to fight him about it in court, or walk away. I choose to walk away, because the fight wouldn't have solved anything. If people want to believe the worst about you, then very little you do about it is going to make any difference.

As to legal advice, you need to consult an attorney for that.

You should do everything that you can, to get your story out to the public. All we ever hear is the womans rights and not the rights of the father or other family members (grandparents, aunts, uncles etc.) and no rights for the unborn child who deserves to have a life.
Please speak out loudly, contact any groups that will help you!
And stay clear of her so your wounds can heal.

Take her to court. This is not just a little thing to have said about you, something like this can definetly have negative effects on your life and business. Don't let her get away with it.
