If you know anything about Christina Aguilera's bio, then you know her real father was abusive to her mother, and to her and her sister. The family left him when Christina was very young. She always had a love/hate thing with her father, b/c she hated him for being abusive but missed not have a father. The video is a reflection on her relationship with him, basically saying she ignored him when he tried to apologize for his past. Also she's saying she could not blame all her mistakes in life on him. He died not long after she became really famous, so it's an ode to the guilt and love she felt for him, even though they were estranged. Any girl who has ever had daddy problems what-so-ever can relate to this song.

Her father trained while she was growing up, and then she later on joined the circus. He came to all of her shows. Then she became famous, and she brushed him off ( she did not have time for him anymore). Then her father died, and she realized how she was not there fror him.

her father taught her to ride the elphat and the trapeze so her father died and now shes HURT she got the telegram saying that her father died and shes saying that she sorry that she thing wrong

well that dude is her dad I think, and he wants to see her because they haven't been together for awhile and then she gets rushed out of the circus place and he doesn't get to see her, thats all I can remember
