Removing nail varnish from a carpet?!URGENT!?

I stupidly spilled it over the carpet. My mum is raging(understandably). I'm desperate here, does anyone know anything which could remove it?

I Agree, WD40 or Acetone (NP Remover). If not then seek a carpet cleaning professional.

maybe some nailpolish remover or WD40 can helps to.... I woudl try the WD40 first
