For example when I try to access other peoples answers. The little squares on the upper left hand side seem to go on for ages.
Never had this problem until last week. Occasionaly slow but nothing like it is now.

Has this happened to you? And if so has it corrected it's self or was it something to do with your own computer that you had to fix?

I would be interested to hear from you please. Thank you.

It would've helped if you'd told us which browser you're using. And what's your bandwidth. And what's the configuration of your computer.

However, considering you say this problem only surfaced last week, I'd advise you to clean up the browser cache.

If you're using IE, please go to "Tools" on the row above and click on it.

Go to "Internet Options" in the drop down menu that appears and click on it.

Go to the "Delete cookies" button and click on it.

Then click on "Delete files" and click a tick into the empty box next to "Delete all offline content" and click OK.

Now, go to "Delete History" and click on it.

Finally, go to Apply and OK and click them both.

Exit the panel and restart your browser by closing it and re-opening it.

It should be running fine now.

Please remember to do this periodically because you gather a lot of junk on the Net.

Oh, by the way, do download and use Advanced WindowsCare v2 Personal 2.10.32158, a free "One click Cleaner and Registry Fixer" from http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4991.html

All the best.

Cheers.

use
Kaspersky internet security suite Anti-Virus 6.0
scan pc in safe mode

lets get that out of ur pc ur some antivirus will miss key keylogger and trojans . frist of all you need to download avg antispyware this is verry good in getting all kinda bad files . then you need to download Adaware
a-squared< is verry good in picking up traking software files that is on the pc and it will find them . then download antispyware blocker that will find any type of virus . trojans files with antispyware blocker when you run that at the top of the box ur see
C:\ WINDOWS
remove the word windows and just leave in

C:\

then hit scan it will search all of the pc every file for virus or trojans and this will not have any problem with ur antivirus you have i have this my self .

then download spyware doctor that will search the pc for even more spyware adaware . just having 1 or 2 antispyware dont cut any ice at all you neeed what i said to download . when you have them run ur pc in safemode and scan the pc with then 1 at a time . this way from safemode the trojan and keylogger cant hide them self coz there is not internet access on in safe mode all the software i said to download will get the trojans and keylogger

if they say some are in the registry you watch what path there in and get in the registry and right hit on that folder and hit remove dont worry when the pc restart up win xp will creat a new clean folder for you

try clearing your cookies and temporary internet files.

then do a defragmentation and a disk cleanup....

also go to start - run - type in 'msconfig' - go to startup and disable all - then restart you computer - should do the trick!!!

e voila - fast computer!
