Do you mean how long should each lesson last? At least an hour, and if you can, you should warm up beforehand to get the most out of your lesson.

If you mean 'how long should I have singing lessons for' then the answer is forever. Any professional singer who's worth anything will continue to take lessons for the rest of their career.

You can't hear yourself sing - the resonances you hear in your head when you sing are not what the audience hears, so you will always need a teacher to go over your repertoire and help you get the best out of it.
