She gave birth to August in June and went on maternity leave. Connie Nielsen filled in her spot. She was on the episode on 10/30 and will be in back later this month. Her dad died too.

She's back. In real life she was out having a baby.
On L&O, she was doing undercover work for the FBI. This week's episode her cover was blown and she's back solving sex crimes.
