Holly Hunter seems really nice and not the kind of celeb who would walk away.
Why don't you write to her fan club and that way you are sure to get what you want... better than gewtting told to ***off in the street...

She's busy being a mom to twins she gave birth to in January. I don't think she has time for an autograph.

she would definatly give it. just be nice and not rude about it when asking. shes a very sweet and down to earth person.
