I don't think he deserved to be hanged. He was a loyal man to his country and His God. He was a head of state and even Ramsey Clark our own ex attorney general said the trial was a travesty. The spin masters in our country are the ones who are wrecking havoc all over the world.

"deserve" is such a potent word.

I believe that if anyone deserves capital punishment, he does. However,
I don't believe that capital punishment will bring peace to the area. I
have never seen a case where capital punishment was, in the LONG run,
the right thing to do.

I think he should get locked up for the rest of his life. I believe he deserves
capital punishment, but in some ways, its too good for him.

He'd be getting off too easy.

He has spent his whole life hurting people and now he is geting what he diserves and if I was left behind by my family that he has killed ,I would be looking forward to the invitation to watch his death. To see him suffer .Hopefully he won't get lucky and maybe he'll choke hopefully the rope doesn't break his neck .I hope he choke to death and suffers. It tolk his whole life to be as cruel as he is.there is know way he's a changed man just an exuce to get people on his side so he doesn't get hung..Well he's not getting my vote.

My viewpoint is based on my belief that legal systems work. Mr. Hussan was given a fairer trial than he gave his accusers. After weighing the evidence (which I am sure was over-whelming); the jury decided he was guilty - in just this one 'incident'. He could stand trial several more times for other 'incidences'. To set him free would be an injustice to his victims.

Saddam has killed scores of men, women and children. He was a brutal dictator.
Personally I do not believe in the death penility, it's pathetic and barbaric and should be reserved only for God
(if there is a God)
He should be incarcerated for the rest of his life.

I think he should co-host The View with Barbara Walters. But only until Osama is found. Then he'll take over.

Death is what this man deserves. When you commit such horrible crimes like genocide, you don't deserve to breathe.
